The Role


Join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of defence technology. This position focuses on managing and refining complex system requirements to deliver cutting-edge solutions for global maritime defence. Collaborate with diverse teams to define, analyse, and validate requirements, driving high-quality and innovative project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and align system requirements with project goals.
  • Utilise advanced tools to track and maintain traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle.
  • Analyse and validate requirements to ensure they are comprehensive, feasible, and of exceptional quality.
  • Contribute to design reviews and assess how requirements influence system architecture and functionality.
  • Prioritise and manage requirement changes to adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Integrate requirements into broader systems engineering processes and facilitate communication across disciplines.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to provide expert input and shape project direction.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in line with operational procedures and industry best practice.


What We’re Looking For


Essential:


  • A bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience managing requirements in complex systems engineering projects.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard requirements management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills for validating and optimising system requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Desirable:


  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Familiarity with industry standards relevant to systems engineering and requirements management.
