Role Description:

  • lead the development and implementation of the Project Management Office (PMO) framework, processes, and tools to support projects.
  • the establishment and assurance of project management standards, methodologies, and governance structures to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • project controls strategies and procedures, including cost management, schedule management, risk management, and change management.
  • guidance and oversight to project managers and teams, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and standards.
  • the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • and report project performance and identify areas for optimisation, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • with cross-functional teams, including H&S, maintenance, commercial, construction, finance, and legal, to drive project success and mitigate risks.
  • as the primary point of contact for project management inquiries, escalations, and decision-making.
  • all aspects of project management including meetings, workshops, and documentation essential to show progress against plans.
  • efficient document management and access to information, tools and services



Requirements

  • degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) preferred.
  • experience in project management and project controls with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, PowerBI).
  • ability to understand, interpret, analyse and present complex data from an Integrated Project Controls perspective.
  • stakeholder management capability to Executive level combined with the ability to adapt communication styles to ensure the right outcomes are achieved.
  • thinker with the ability to anticipate and address project challenges, driving innovation and continuous improvement.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to work on construction sites and in an office environment.
