We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geographical Data Specialist to guide and support our clients' organisation in rationalizing its geographical data capabilities and delivering a strategic Enterprise Mapping Capability as part of their overall Data Platform Delivery.

As a Geographical Data Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on the use of geographic and location data across the organisation. You will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of their geographical data capabilities and ensure that the Data Platform Delivery aligns with business objectives.


*Key Responsibilities:*


* Lead the development and implementation of an Enterprise Mapping Capability that meets strategic objectives and supports Data Platform Delivery.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging geographical data to drive business value.

* Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on the use of geographic and location data within the organization.

* Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of our geographic data assets.

* Drive innovation in geographical data analysis and visualization techniques to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.


*Qualifications:*


* Experience in GIS, Data Science, or a related field.

* Proven experience in data management and analysis, with a strong understanding of GIS technologies and tools.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
