What We Expect:


As a Recruitment Consultant at Applica, you will be a key member of our global recruitment centre in Manchester. Reporting directly to the Recruitment Team Lead, you will support industry-leading clients in multiple global locations with their contract and permanent vacancies. We provide an exceptional training program that covers both the recruitment process and industry-specific knowledge, ensuring you are well-equipped for success.


Responsibilities:


Reviewing Client Job Descriptions: Understand the technical and cultural requirements of job roles by reviewing client job descriptions.


Candidate Search and Selection: Use multiple sourcing channels to identify and select suitable candidates to fulfil job roles.


Candidate Qualification: Assess candidates by engaging in discussions about their reasons for applying, along with their rate or salary expectations, employing effective communication techniques to discern both their internal and external motivations.


Preparation of Candidate Materials: Collaborate closely with our client account managers to manage submissions by preparing candidate CVs, summaries, and other necessary materials.


Managing the Recruitment Process: Exercise full autonomy over the recruitment process, managing your own desk and recruitment workflow to meet targets while guiding candidates through interview and offer stages.


Onboarding: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the successful onboarding of hired candidates, including gathering compliance documentation.


Building a Candidate Network: Build and maintain a network of candidates in the energy transition sector.


Lead Generation: Utilise networking with candidates to generate business development leads, and follow up directly or with the support of the Recruitment Team Lead.


Mentoring: Mentor recruitment associates.


Compliance: Always follow and promote safe and compliant working practices.
