Salary: £90-£110,000



The Role

As the Principal Database Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the company's database infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining database standards and policies
  • Designing, creating, and testing database solutions
  • Managing database availability, performance, and incident resolution
  • Optimizing database performance through tuning, indexing, and monitoring
  • Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data
  • Developing and executing database backup and recovery strategies
  • Writing and optimizing SQL scripts


What We're Looking For

  • Deep expertise in SQL Server
  • Experience with AWS (RDS/Redshift/Aurora/FiveTran)
  • Strong understanding of data protection regulations and security controls
  • Strong business intelligence and data warehousing knowledge


  • Knowledge of AWS Aurora or MySQL is a plus
