Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper (Office based) – Full time / Part time / flexible

We are an established and dynamic London-based furniture design brand, looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and diligent person to join our in-house Accounts team.


All Account / general office duties.

  • Handling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Generating financial and operational reports.
  • Reconciling bank and credit accounts.
  • Company credit card and expenses.
  • Maintaining and organising the necessary records/files.
  • Month-end responsibilities including balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, accruals and prepayments.
  • Other finance / admin related duties as requested.
  • Well experienced and proficient in Xero (essential), Sage Line 50 (an advantage), CIN7 (an advantage), MS Office proficient.
  • Experience working within a finance department.
  • Preparing / checking VAT returns.
  • Confident communicator, self-motivated and focused on deliverables.
  • High attention to detail and well organised.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience working with multiple currency is essential as we trade internationally.
  • Experience working with e-commerce an advantage.
