Qualified Social Worker - Homes for Ukraine Team
London Borough of Camden are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team our client also offers a competitive salary, flexible work times, opportunities to work remotely and a chance to develop your skills. This Adults Homes for Ukraine Team role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking adult and child safeguarding checks
- Undertaking screening calls to Sponsors
- Undertaking assessment visits to Sponsors to determine the suitability of the sponsor and their accommodation.
- Supporting sponsors with DBS applications
- Providing case management support to guests who have moved in with sponsors.
Experience preferred:
- Post qualifying experience of working within an Adults Locality Team or Safeguarding Team.
The Team:
- Well-structured organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- HCPC Registration
- 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
