Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Engage with quantitative analysts and traders to drive innovation and creativity.
  • Focus on enhancing distributed computing, Linux infrastructure, cluster optimization, and modernizing spreadsheet integrations.
  • Improve productivity for quants and developers by optimizing pricing frameworks.
  • Develop essential real-time and end-of-day trading applications utilizing our advanced analytics library.

Our team operates under a DevOps model, where you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the software you create. This includes testing, automation, monitoring, and metrics, ensuring accountability through direct interaction with trading desks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in modern C# development and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficient in developing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of messaging technologies such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins and Git.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance software applications using C#.
  • Develop scalable distributed systems and microservices.
  • Employ AWS, Kubernetes, and other cloud technologies for application deployment.
  • Create and manage messaging systems utilizing Kafka and ActiveMQ.
  • Develop monitoring and logging solutions with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and other quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deploy new features.
  • Maintain and support existing software applications and systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the competitiveness and innovation of our products.
