As part of a small, non-hierarchical global team of exceptional quantitative researchers and developers, you will leverage your strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ to address quantitative research challenges using cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrating technology with quantitative research to drive innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities could include:

  • Building a unified system that allows researchers to access and visualize data, and to build, fit and back test models in production-ready and simulation environments
  • Working directly with the researchers to identify pain points to resolve and new functionality required to support modeling efforts and drive operational efficiency.
  • Designing products and frameworks to provide insights into the investment process and performance E.G. API’s, visualizations.
  • Enhancing the coding environment and a variety of data and platform services including the ability to share and collaborate on research, and improve time-to-market of business-critical quantitative analytics.

Requirements:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant and highly technical field (computer science, math, statistics, physics, etc.)
  • 6+ years software development experience, strong experience in building high quality software in Python
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Strong interest in problem solving, collaborating with researchers and understanding business needs
  • Ability to work across the stack and optimize revenue generating platforms and insights.
