About us

The fact that MooGoo even exists is a happy accident. In 2005, the Head of the Herd (Craig Jones) noticed that his mother was using a white paste, intended for use on cows, to help with her Psoriasis. The cream was formulated to help keep the skin on cow’s udders in good condition for milking. Cow’s udders need to be kept soft and supple, not dry and cracked. No one likes an angry cow. Although it seemed to be working well, the cream was thick and hard to apply. Since his mum didn’t particularly like being lathered in a thick cream made for cows, he took on the task of reformulating it and made up a lighter, non-greasy version. He also chose to use natural oils instead of paraffin or petroleum, and decided to leave out the nasty ingredients he has seen in other skin care products on the high street. Craig’s mum would lovingly call it her “MooGoo” and the name stuck. Starting a skin care company wasn’t the initial idea, but friends and family kept asking for more of it, and eventually, Craig went into business.


Australian owned, MooGoo is the leading natural skincare range Australia wide. MooGoo has grown to produce over 40 different products to help with lots of different skin and scalp problems which are sold throughout the world. There is a product and category for the whole family, that we are comfortable using on ourselves and loved ones.


Since launching at UK headquarters over 10 years ago, business in the UK has continued to grow year on year, selling our products through our website, and in over 1000 pharmacies and health food shops UK wide. We have big plans and the opportunity to grow even further, so it is a very exciting time to join.


The role

Field Sale Representative for Scotland

Enthusiastic, passionate lover of skin care, and natural remedies required to continue and expand on growth within the pharmacies and health food stores where our products are sold.

Based on the road, primarily in the surrounds of Edinburgh, Glasgow and regional, you’ll be pro-actively visiting MooGoo stockists, building relationships and growing business with them, through merchandising, upselling, training, analysing previous sales, and suggesting improvements.


Key responsibilities/ Daily tasks

  • Build strong relationships with in store staff including managers or those responsible for ordering.
  • Plan a bi-monthly territory run for approximately 130 stores (and growing) determining which stores you will visit and how often
  • Analyse previous sales for your stores, to determine potential opportunities for growth/ look for ways to sustain business with top performers
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met and optimised
  • Take orders, upselling, inform of offers and promotions, new products etc.
  • Attend promotional events/ trade shows to promote MooGoo
  • Be confident approaching and recognising new business & hitting new business targets


Who we are looking for

· We are looking for someone with more than 2 year’s experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmacy/skincare space

· You need to be personable, ambitious and have a genuine love for skin care and natural remedies with an interest in science and medicine.

· We need someone who is analytical and strategic, with good excel skills, a background or interest in science, natural remedies or medicine would be beneficial.

· You must be organised and be able to plan your own time.

· This role requires strong communication skills, you have to be confident talking to and training staff, including management and not be afraid to pick up the phone.

· You must have commercial awareness, and be able to use this skill to maximize growth within your stores.

· We are a small team and sometimes we have to help each other out, so we need you to be flexible and be willing to complete tasks outside of your job role at times.

· Although this role will be fully supported by HQ with regular contact, it is essential that you work well independently

· A UK driving license and ability to navigate with a Sat Nav is essential
