We are currently recruiting for a Rail Resourcing Manager to help develop our new Rail Division.

As the Head of Rail, you will play a pivotal role in launching and developing our rail division. Your primary focus will be on business development, resource management, and team building. You will work closely with a dedicated resourcer to establish and lead a team that ensures our rail projects are resourced effectively and efficiently.


Responsibilities –


Business Development:

· Identify and target opportunities within the rail industry for project resourcing and staffing solutions.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the rail sector.

· Develop and execute a business development strategy to achieve divisional growth targets.


Resource Management:

· Collaborate with the dedicated resourcer to source and match qualified candidates for rail projects.

· Manage resource allocation for rail projects, ensuring efficient utilization of available talent.

· Implement best practices in resource management to maximize project success.


Team Development:

· Recruit, train, and lead a team of resourcing professionals to support the rail division's growth.

· Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure high performance and professional development.

· Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.


Strategic Planning:

· Contribute to the development of the rail division's long-term strategy and objectives.

· Analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities for the rail division.

· Ensure the division operates in alignment with company values and goals.


Reporting and Analysis:

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the rail division and report on progress to senior management.

· Conduct regular analyses of resource utilization, client satisfaction, and divisional performance.


Desired Candidate:

· Proven experience in business development and resource management, preferably within the rail or transportation industry.

· Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

· Knowledge of the rail industry and its specific resourcing requirements.

· Familiarity with relevant industry software and tools.

· Existing contacts and relationships within the rail sector, including with potential clients, industry associations, and key stakeholders, would be beneficial.

· Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to the rail industry to ensure compliance and safe project execution.
