Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Wolverhampton, is currently looking to recruit a Digital Project Manager for an initial 7 month contract, on a rate of £347/day via umbrella company (Inside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of home and office working. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- The purpose of the role is to provide support and leadership to assigned digital projects. The postholder will take ownership and manage the day to day delivery of assigned projects to ensure they are planned and delivered effectively and to meet the project’s goals on time and within budget. The role will also include organising people, tasks, and resources for successful delivery.
- Producing project documentation
- Liaison with suppliers and providers
- Data integration from partner organisations primary clinical systems
- Data enhancements to include pathology and radiology
- Technical specialist for the delivery of the wider programme
- Project manage data integration workstream reporting exceptions, managing risks and issues
- Stakeholder management including supporting partner organisations to deliver to agreed timescales
- Monitoring and Reporting (outcomes, status, highlights, exceptions, risks, issues and mitigations etc)
- Technical contact for the Shared Care Record for all workstream leads
- Developing and maintaining project plans and project documentation (relating to data integration)
- Development of future data integration plans i.e. to onboard future partners (care homes, hospices) and data enhancement increasing the scope and richness of the shared care record
- On-boarding of additional organisations
- Risk and Issue management
- Development of safety case documentation and periodic review and refresh of the documents
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in similar role in public sector
- A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it
- PRINCE2 Foundation level or significant specialist experience of using the methodology in the workplace and on projects
- Significant experience in project management, and supporting change management processes, in a digital context
- Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring performance
- Experience in communications and stakeholder management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Evidence of success in efficient and effective project and programme management
- Skills for communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
- Skills for nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks.
- Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload without supervision working to tight and often changing timescales
- Ability to work flexibly across the Black Country and West Birmingham area and wider area as required
