Hybrid role with office based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire.
£33,000 per annum
Are you a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills, the ability to find solutions, and the talent for evaluating risks? Have you worked in care but are looking for something different and exciting?
We need an experienced care professional to join our team in Eynsham, Oxford, as a care assessor. You'll use your strong administrative and customer service skills to work closely with our operations team. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all clients receive excellent care, from starting placements to ongoing management of staff and care needs.
Together with a care manager, you'll make sure we consistently provide excellent customer service to our clients, their families, and our care workers. We'll do this by being positive, proactive, and professional, all while staying true to our core values.

Your role will involve:
- Meeting with new clients, assessing their needs and developing a comprehensive, person-centred care plan to meet their needs
- Ensuring robust risk assessment and comprehensive care planning for clients in your portfolio
- Overseeing carer retention and stability, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, and standards
- Implementing placement management strategies to enhance client retention and stability
- Supporting and contribute to the organic growth of sales
We’re looking for:
- Experience in the health and social care sector with an understanding of the expectations of a carers role and subsequent support required for both carers and clients
- An ability to prioritise effectively, plan and organise, as well as problem solve and risk assess
- A strong risk assessor with appropriate knowledge and skill to deliver safety for both client and carer
- Confident to undertake meetings with new clients and families and promote the benefits of Oxford Aunts service
- Able to write well and accustomed to care planning creation, review and delivery
- Experience of staff supervision and appraisal processes
- Experience of working collaboratively with clients, client families, key stakeholders and healthcare professionals
- Articulate with excellent customer service skills
- Experience with dealing with challenging situations with a positive outcome
- A driver with a car, based, as you will need to visit and assess clients within a 70 mile radius of Oxford
- Happy to be part of an on call service during the week and occasional weekends
