Brandbassador is a platform that allows brands to scale and automate word-of-mouth ambassador marketing, and allows people to be an ambassador for their favourite brands and get perks, gift cards, cash and products in return. We currently work with 200 brands such as iDeal of Sweden, PopSockets, Daniel Wellington, Paul Valentine, and the list goes on.


Brandbassador was created by the founders of the fashion phenomenon Onepiece - a pioneer in the adult onesie industry and in ambassador marketing. After running into a number of painful manual tasks, the founders created their own internal system to alleviate the problem. Little did they know, it was a problem countless brands are facing and need a solution to. So, they spent 2 years and over $4 million in development costs to create what is now Brandbassador.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager who can also serve as a Scrum Master to drive the development and delivery of our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, facilitating agile practices, and helping us transition to stream-aligned teams. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical know-how, agile expertise and business driven.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Management:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely and successful delivery.


Scrum Master Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and remove blockers to ensure the team can deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to Scrum processes and practices, promoting accountability and transparency.


Transition to Stream-Aligned Teams:

  • Lead the initiative to transition the organization to stream-aligned teams, focusing on improving team autonomy and reducing dependencies.
  • Work with stakeholders to define clear team boundaries and responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to align teams around specific product streams or value streams.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the new team structure and make adjustments as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager and Scrum Master in a SaaS or software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product plans.
  • Experience in transitioning teams to stream-aligned structures is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
