Role Overview:

Finatal is partnered with a PE backed professional services business, seeking a first time FP&A hire to support the CFO in driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of the annual budget process and regular forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with the business strategy.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Work closely with department heads to provide financial insights and support, helping to drive business performance and achieve targets.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into key business metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the implementation of new financial systems and processes, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into the business.
  • Leverage your strong knowledge of Xero to manage the financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar FP&A role in a PE-backed professional services business.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Xero is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of the FP&A function.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and maintaining financial dashboards.
  • Prior experience with financial systems implementations is a plus.
