An exciting, newly created opportunity at a global law firm for an experienced Partner Onboarding Specialist to join their close-knit team.


The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Promote and drive an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the onboarding process.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely communications from the onboarding stages, ensuring key stakeholders have the information required to arrange appropriate induction procedures.
  • Working with the Recruitment, Operations and relevant wider team members to actively manage onboarding and candidate communication processes across the international firm.
  • Ensure that all required pre-engagement screening checks are initiated in a timely manner and discrepancies are addressed proactively, minimising potential delays in start dates.
  • Enter all data into all relevant HR systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner and ensure that all documentation is maintained and stored within data protection guidelines.


Skills, experience and characteristics required include:

  • A sound knowledge of human resource and pre-engagement fundamentals, with a solid focus on all aspects of onboarding.
  • Experience gathered from a range of roles and environments, but preferably skilled and experienced in working within Professional, Financial or Legal Services.
  • A proven track record across multiple sites, varied skill sets and multiple and varied client groups.
  • A skilled and concise communicator.
  • A relationship builder who is highly adept at senior candidate, internal stakeholder and third-party management.
