Kingswood Group are pleased to be supporting a commercial business with the recruitment of a HR Advisor on a 10 month contract basis.


The role will be office based in Wickford, Essex with potential to work 1 day from home once settled.


This is a broad generalist position offering variety. You will have previous experience working as an Advisor and be able to manage a wide range of HR tasks, working in a standalone capacity.


Duties to include;

  • Acting as the main point of contact for the business in relation to all HR queries
  • ER casework, including investigation, disciplinary and dismissals
  • Recruitment activity to include organising interviews, shortlisting candidates, liaising with suppliers
  • Ensuring all employees personal information is kept up to date and any changes accurately recorded
  • Preparing offer letters, contracts and induction packs
  • Organising inductions plans for new joiners
  • Obtaining references
  • Managing staff engagement activity, organising events and hosting charity events
  • Maintaining employee benefits administration


Previous experience operating at Advisory level with a generalist background, include ER is essential. You will have demonstrable experience working in a standalone capacity.


Due to the urgency of the role, candidates need to be available to start at short notice.
