We are seeking a skilled and experienced fire engineer to work within our fire safety team of chartered and graduate engineers


Professional Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience working as a fire engineer in a consultancy environment;

• Developed fire strategies and engineering solutions for a range of projects, including residential, educational, commercial, etc.

• Prepared technical reports for submission to Building Control

• Reviewed technical data to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and fire strategy requirements;

• Created technical mark-up drawings to guide the design team;

• Performed CFD modeling of smoke control systems;

• Participated in meetings with clients, design teams, and Fire and Rescue Services;

• Oversaw the technical, commercial, and professional growth of graduate engineers, helping them achieve their career goals.

• Progress towards Chartered Status or relevant professional registration/qualification.


Qualifications

  • Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Safety, and Fire Suppression Systems expertise
  • Knowledge of Life Safety and Safety Engineering principles
  • Experience in conducting Fire Risk Assessments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Relevant certifications in fire safety engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
