Key Responsibilities
Due to the continuing success and growth of our UK team, AESG are seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to support the growing Fire & Life Safety division and work alongside our other specialist disciplines. The role will be to support the successful delivery of UK and international projects, working with project team Engineers and Senior Consultants throughout all project phases, whilst also including independent project management of complex design and construction projects, covering all aspects of Fire Engineering.
This role requires you to demonstrate high levels of technical experience in fire engineering including design, strategy writing and project delivery to our clients in addition to traditional Fire & Life Safety design and engineering services.

- Continuing the growth and development of our Fire & Life Safety offering to the UK and international markets
- Working with our multidiscipline team to ensure coordinated outputs
- Execution of Strategy, Business Development and Commercial Management
The Ideal Candidate Fits the Below Profile:
- Expert understanding of fire engineering principals
- Experience in numerous complex and prestigious projects across the UK

Essential Skills:
- BSc or MSc in Fire Engineering or equivalent
- Aspiration to become a Chartered Engineer
- Substantial experience in fire strategy development of buildings for the project life cycle, minimum from planning to construction stages. Experience of residential and mixed use tall buildings are favourable.
- Good engineering analytic mindset and proven technical understanding.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulation, standard and guidance and its implementation.
- Excellent technical knowledge in Fire Safety / Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors. Public Sector experience would also be a big advantage.
- A thorough understanding of Fire Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process
- A good appreciation of the importance of complementary specialisms such computer modelling (CFD), Structural Engineering, Façade Engineering and Building Services in the design of buildings
- Ability to deliver & control project delivery, within time and budget
- UK experience with international experience preferred
