Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our short-term rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, hospitality, and team leadership. The Operations Manager will ensure the smooth running of our properties, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of all short-term rental properties.
- Coordinate and manage housekeeping, maintenance, and guest service teams to ensure properties are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Guest Experience:
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving guest complaints and issues promptly.
- Monitor guest reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests to encourage repeat bookings and positive reviews.
- Property Management:
- Organise regular property inspections to ensure quality standards are met and identify any maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and improvements.
- Manage inventory and procurement of supplies and amenities for properties.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to perform at their best.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure team members are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management to ensure operations are cost-effective.
- Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all properties comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies for staff and guests.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field, with at least 1 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in short-term rental management.
- Knowledge of local real estate market and regulations.
- Certification in property management or hospitality.
