Were seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Groups & Meeting Planner to join our dynamic team at Hotel Co 51 UK. As a key point of contact between our guests and hotels, youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of group bookings across our Moxy, AC by Marriott, Courtyard, and Residence Inn brands.

What Youll Do

You will be responsible for the operational management of group bookings, from initial contact to post-stay. This involves:

  • Group Management: Handling all aspects of group bookings, including contracts, rooming lists, and guest communications.

  • Revenue Optimisation:Maximising room revenue through effective inventory management and client relationship building.

  • Operational Coordination: Collaborating with hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Administrative Tasks: Managing group-related paperwork, invoicing, and commission requests.

Your Role in a Nutshell

As a Groups & Meeting Planner, your key responsibilities include:

  • Operational Excellence: Efficiently managing group bookings and ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Relationship Building: Developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

  • Data Management:Maintainingaccurate records and producing detailed reports.

  • Problem Solving: Addressing challenges proactively and finding solutions.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Opera Express and Opera Sales & Catering.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a hotel environment, preferably in groupor reservations.
