We are recruiting for a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (£25K salary for 0.5 FTE) for a new professional membership body. Our client is focused on healthcare initiatives for the public and has members in the UK and internationally.


The organisation supports professionals in its relevant sector, influencing public policy and promoting best practice. They are currently changing their business and employee structure and need a talented finance professional to be the most senior finance expert to all on all financial management objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the new financial systems and processes.
  • Management accounts and payroll.
  • Financial planning and analysis.
  • Business support and budgeting.
  • Statutory reporting, compliance, audit and fraud.
  • Cash flow management and financial governance.


Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountancy qualification.
  • Ideally experience within a professional membership body, charity or other non-profit organisation.
  • Experience working closely with senior management.
  • Ability and initiative to build new long term finance functions.
