Our client are currently on the look our for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to add to their growing team.


Working mainly in retail with customers including Lidl, Sainsburys and Tesco, they work on large store refits, big warehouses or new supermarkets, with these projects ranging from £5 million to £40 million.


Previous retail or commercial experience would be preferable.


Key Skills:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • RICS or MRIS accredited or commitment to achieving
  • Understanding of Retail or Commercial projects
  • Strong NEC and JCT contract experience and understanding
  • Ability to deliver on multiple projects and manage a changing workload
  • Good interpersonal skills; maintaining long and new relationships
  • Career drive


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest of standards.
  • Establishing client requirements, advising on procurement, and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and delivering achievable project timeframes.
  • Preparing and analysing project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time.
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, provide expert pre- and post-contract support.
  • Providing cost analysis, advice, and reports to clients, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
