About the role

This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best brands within the beauty accessories and haircare space within social media. This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover starting from September 2024.


The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for the running of the social media team and is accountable for building positive brand perception of our consumer brands (Eylure false lashes, Elegant Touch press-on nails, Cantu textured hair care and Dr Teal's Epsom Salts), through the organic social media channels managed, the social media paid advertising program and growth opportunities including TikTok shop. As well as overseeing the UK social media channels, the Senior Social Media Manager is accountable for the social media assets required by local territories (US, Europe and Australia).


The Senior Social Media Manager is supported by a Social Media Manager, Social Media Executive and Social Media Assistant. This role reports into the International Head of Communications.


Remit

  1. Social media strategy - identify and oversee the priority for growth within the social media landscape that contributes to the overall brand and business strategy.
  2. Budget management - work with the International Head of Communications to phase the budget throughout the year on social media initiatives and ensure monies is spent as budgeted.
  3. Social media paid ads - responsible for planning and setting live the UK social media ads across Meta and TikTok. Optimise and ensure learnings are applied to future campaigns.
  4. TikTok shop - responsible for the running of TikTok shop, loading the products, raising awareness of presence working with content creator portal and reporting on performance.
  5. Organic social media channels - approval of content calendars managed by Social Media Manager.
  6. Assets for social media use - accountable for the creation of content required all active social media channels and for booked retail social media marketing.
  7. Campaign & partnership management - ensures campaigns are suitably supported with social media, resulting in a 360⁰ approach with PR, digital and other relevant touchpoints. Identify and plan for social media led campaigns with our active charity partners.
  8. Stakeholder management & reporting - share and results of initiatives to brand teams and business when required. Support International Head of Communications with wider business and external organisations.
  9. Line management - support, mentor and ensure team are delivering on business objectives.


This role requires being in the office (Uxbridge) around 2 days a week, the rest of the time will be working from home or travelling to offsite meetings.
