This is a rare opportunity to join the team of a rapidly expanding, award-winning automotive company with large growth plans across new markets. Join the team as a Procurement Administrator on a permanent basis at their manufacturing site based near Kineton, Warwickshire.
Working with the world’s go-to campervans and motorhomes, their craftsmanship to configure and upgrade is second to none, leaving customers with a one-of-a-kind model to embark on their camping adventures worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join the team as a Procurement Administrator, spearheading system implementation, creating robust administration processes and using your procurement acumen to shape their future
As the Procurement Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of Sage Intacct, and will oversee the daily administration of the finance team including purchasing and procurement. You will provide financial insights and support for various company projects, maintaining the brand's competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Administrator
- Purchasing support – Support purchasing to ensure all documentation is correct and complete, both internally and with suppliers.
- Stock Management Review – Work alongside the FD and Finance Manager to ensure that the new system processes are suitable and adhered to.
- Supplier relations – Ensure that all sites maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- System process – Day to day support to ensure that the systems are up to date with purchases, receipts and invoices.
- Discrepancy resolution - Resolve issues related to differences with delivery quantities and prices.
- Reporting – Support finance with ensuring accurate stock reporting at month end.
- Inter-Company – Ensure that all documentation for intercompany transfers and receipts are processed in a timely fashion.
- Project Assistance - Provide process and supply chain insights and support for various company projects.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualifications – Relevant experience/qualification on administration, procurement or supplier management.
- Industry Experience - Proven experience in a diverse business environment, bonus-points if you’re experienced within a vehicle fit-out or resale business.
- Systems Knowledge - Prior experience with Sage Intacct or other Sage systems is highly advantageous.
- Stock Control: Strong understanding of stock control processes and systems.
- Inter-company Accounting - Experience in handling inter-company accounting transactions.
- Process Orientation - Strong process orientation with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Attention to detail – items purchased range from small consumables to high value items, but all need to be processed accurately.
Additional Information
- This role is office-based at the manufacturing site, some travel will be required to Head Quarters, which is located within 10 miles.
