Job Description

This role is key to ensuring product quality remains at the forefront and is a primary focus of the business, ensuring we are continuously providing our customers with great and reliable products.

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, in this role you will work closely with the production and engineering teams providing information to help solve any problems that arise.

In this role you will be responsible for the regular inspections of inward components and materials, raise rejection notices on suppliers and further to this convert internal rejections into suppliers returns. Mainly however you will drive quality within the department to ensure products are reliable and safe for customers.

This role would suit a self-motivated professional who prides themselves on their attention to detail and organisational skills.

Experience Requirements:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship qualified
  • Ability to program and run a coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
  • Experience with first principle inspection

The Successful Candidate:

  • Has a methodical approach
  • Places a high emphasis on attention to detail
  • Relishes the opportunity to work as part of a team
