We have a new opportunity to be part of the Quality team in the role of Mechanical Inspector - Weekend Shift.


In this role you will be required to:

  • To assure the quality of internally and externally manufactured metallic components meet the required standard.
  • To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.
  • To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.
  • To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of machine manufacturing processes and Inspection techniques.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role.


Key skills:

  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of machining processes.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of PcDmis and Polyworks Metrology Suites.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines, Absolute arms, Shadowgraphs, Contour Tracers, and handheld measuring equipment.
  • The ability to read technical drawings.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP or similar.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Previous experience as Mechanical Inspector or similar in a Formula One environment / high level Motorsport environment would be advantageous.
  • Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours.
  • To communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
  • To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills.
  • Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
