We are looking for an experienced motion graphic designer with strong video editing skills to join our team in-house in London. Your role will involve crafting visually engaging and compelling video content and campaigns for our performance marketing, organic social channels, websites, OOH and retail environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring a seamless and engaging final product, with a specific focus on creating thumb-stopping and hook-guided short form content for social media and social ad campaigns. The ability to add special effects where it adds value, as well as graphics, sounds etc.


  • Colour Grading and camera matching between different sources to achieve a cohesive and professional look across different creative material.


  • Edit engaging and powerful campaign videos from raw footage provided by on-set videographers to support product launches.


  • Create a variety of digital ads for Meta and TikTok based on detailed design briefs from the content team.


  • Produce in-store and OOH video assets to support product launches, brand and retail launches; working with provided dimensions and guidelines.


  • Work closely with the broader creative team to meet deadlines and maintain the highest standards of work quality.


  • Enhance ROAS by collaborating closely with performance agencies and the Senior Manager to develop an integrated production cycle. This includes creating modular scripts for multiple video variants and comprehending analytical insights.


  • Lead and participate in regular ideation sessions, bringing new and exciting ideas to the table. Work with the Creative Lead, performance and social team to brainstorm creative video campaign ideas, develop creative briefs and campaign shoot requirements.


  • Attend both campaign and social shoots to ensure that the produced assets meet your needs for creating engaging content and are fit for their intended purpose.


  • Utilise the UKLASH content library to refresh existing assets and develop new ones, experimenting with various storytelling formats.


  • Work with the creator and community managers to develop a simple and structured process to manage UGC production at scale.


  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Accurately estimate edit times and deliver against these allocated timelines.


  • Review and refine video content to ensure it meets and aligns with UKLASH’s high standards of excellence and elevated brand image, including checking for spelling errors, brand consistency, and alignment with the project brief.


About you:


Minimum of 3 years of video editing experience in a professional capacity, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. Ideally experience in a fast-paced agency environment.


  • A social, mobile-first approach to all work
  • The ability to take raw footage and tell stories through production from various sources; UGC, influencer, in-house, shoot content and affiliates (not necessarily working from a script)
  • Ability to work to short deadlines as new videos are to be produced on a weekly basis
  • Experience in testing creative hooks, editing multiple versions and owning the testing timeline and approach to KPIs
  • A keen storyteller, someone who understands what makes an engaging and shareable story
  • Motion Graphic design experience

  • Feedback to the rest of the business as to what is working and performing well to feed into other teams strategies for the future
  • Must possess excellent file management skills to ensure efficient and organised workflow
