Finance Data Analyst, Private Bank – Based London
This is a brilliant role for an experienced Finance Analyst who has a real head for data and technology.
You’ll report to the Head of Financial Planning & Strategy and this will be all about building better customer and product data reports using technology to be able ‘tell a story’ in terms of profitability and performance.
Key Duties:
- Taking customer data (loans, mortgages, cash) to build reports to enable analysis of customer trends, behaviour and performance
- Produce dashboard packs on performance data and analyse success rates, costs and profitability
- Analysis of deposits and cash positions of customers and customer behaviour
- Interest rate movement analysis and stress testing
- Produce reports and analysis on customer profitability to present to the C Suite
- Ad-hoc new customer and product analysis
- Highlight meaningful financial performance issues using a very wide set of data
- Build new data sets and reports via Power BI and SQL
- Use initiative to build additional reports and analysis for the finance and product teams
The Person:
- An experienced Finance Analyst with strong data experience or an experienced Data Analyst with a strong Finance background
- Open on qualification
- Have experience with Power BI & SQL (python would be a bonus)
- Have experience in building/designing dashboards and reports
- Ability to communicate across multiple teams and colleagues at a senior level
- A real eye for detail and a love of data and numbers
This is a great role and some say the direction in which Finance Analysis is going….you will use leading technologies to help provide more meaningful analysis of customer, product and performance information that will enable swifter and more accurate commercial decision making.
