Hybrid / one day per week in the office (Stafford)
Immediate start for an Interim Senior Payroll Officer, for my client, one of the largest providers of homes in the West Midlands, employing almost 1,000 people across the whole business.
The purpose of this interim Senior Payroll Officer role is to be responsible for the effective production of the group’s payroll, including the support of the Payroll Officers.
You will also be supporting the Payroll Manager of this booming business on various projects and be responsible for 2 payroll officers.
What we’re looking for and what the Interim Senior Payroll Officer be doing:
• Experience of working in a Payroll Team and processing payrolls from start to finish – ideally within an HR Dept
• Experience of working within a project team and playing a key role within the project delivery
• Reporting into the Payroll Manager, responsible for X2 payroll officers
• Process the whole payroll, although this will be handled by the officers, experience of implementing change,
• Ideally have used Civica but not essential – good payroll systems knowledge
• Must be organised, confident and an excellent relationship builder
Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, and strong numeracy and analytical skills are of course a must.
This is an interim role paying £38k per annum PRO RATA (4 month FTC).
