We are looking for a highly skilled and data-driven Paid Search Manager to join our Acquisition and Media team. The role encompasses responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and optimising paid search campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of paid search strategies, keyword research, campaign optimization, and performance analysis. The role will play a crucial role in maximizing our return on investment (ROI) and achieving our business objectives through effective paid search strategies.

Your role in the team

The UK is IG Group's biggest market by revenues, and IG is the biggest brand in the UK leveraged trading sector (by revenues). As such this is a prominent role in the UK team. Paid Search is a significant budget commitment and our relationship with Google is critical to customer acquisition success. As such this role is at the heart of our acquisition strategy.

The role reports to the Head of Acquisition and Media and is a critical role for the UK marketing team.

The UK is also a huge opportunity for IG. We start from a position of strength but we have opportunities to diversify into adjacent products; challenge other brands with higher customer volumes (but lower revenues); and grow engagement with our existing, loyal base. This role is all about developing and executing on that growth opportunity.

Who you are

  • 4-5 years experience in paid search with a focus on campaign management and optimisation.
  • Proven track record of managing successful paid search campaigns with demonstrated results in improving ROI and meeting/exceeding KPIs
  • Deep understanding of paid search platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, as well as other advertising platforms such as Apple Search Ads
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytics tools for performance tracking and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be required to effectively communicate to different stakeholders, who have varied knowledge of the specifics of your channel
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Google Ads certification is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of DV360, Campaign Manager and/or Affiliate Referral marketing would be useful but not a requirement
