Sales Director
This growing retail business is looking for a Sales Director. Reporting into the General Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's retail sales strategy to maximise growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's retail sales strategy to maximize sales growth and profitability
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key retail customers
- Monitor and analyse market trends to ensure that the company's products remain competitive
- Develop and implement retail pricing strategies to optimize margins and sales volume
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective in-store marketing campaigns and promotions
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, including finance, operations, and product development
- Lead the retail team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to the leadership team
- Ensure all retail operations are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
- Manage and motivate the retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced organisation. You will have extensive experience in sales gained in a Retail or FMCG environment. You will have D2C experience as well as experience nurturing exceptional retail relationships to drive sales growth. The ultimate goal of the Sales Director is to maximize profitability and deliver strong financial results through effective retail strategies and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional customer service and personality, a flair for numbers, be highly organised, and have excellent leadership skills.
