Position Summary:

The Content Creator will play a key role in producing and managing compelling content across all of my client's social media channels. This position is crucial for building brand visibility, engaging with the audience, and driving traffic to their digital platforms.


Primary Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Develop and produce dynamic content tailored for a range of platforms.
  • Partner with the marketing team to craft a content schedule.

Video Production:

  • Plan, write, film, and edit engaging video content for social media, including product highlights, promotional videos, behind-the-scenes clips and tutorials.
  • Maintain high standards of quality in all video productions.

Graphic Design:

  • Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to design eye-catching graphics.
  • Develop and implement branded templates for social media to maintain consistency in visual identity.

Copywriting:

  • Craft persuasive and engaging captions, posts, and content descriptions optimised for each social media platform.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice is maintained across all written content.

Community Interaction:

  • Actively monitor social media channels to engage with followers, responding promptly and appropriately to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Encourage community growth and engagement through ongoing interaction and conversation.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyse social media content performance, gathering insights.
  • Regularly report on key metrics and performance indicators.

Collaboration and Ideation:

  • Work alongside the Marketing and Content team to generate and refine new content ideas.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including product development and customer service, to source content and gather insights.

Trend Analysis:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, social media best practices, and competitor strategies to ensure content remains innovative and current.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing content for various social media platforms.


Skills:

  • Expertise in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand content for diverse platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and social media algorithms is a plus.
