We are looking for a Contracts Manger to join our team in Leeds. If you have experience working in the steel industry / metal fabrication in a project co-ordination / planning role, we would love to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer requirements and produce works instructions to manufacture our products.
- Maximise efficiencies in the works instructions produced for the factory.
- Read customer drawings and ensure we manufacture to the correct specification.
- Purchase steel and plate efficiently and in the correct sequence.
- Ensure bought out items are ordered on time to suit “just in time” delivery system.
- Liaise with customers to ensure we meet their delivery requirements.
- Attend production meetings and update the planner and rest team of progress.
- Produce drawings using Autocad when required.
This role is based at our Leeds plant with flexible working hours and hybrid opportunity where appropriate.
