Working closely with the Creative and Senior Leadership teams, your role will be inextricably linked to the creative output and strategic growth of Buttermilk. You will collaborate with our Strategy team to create trend and culture storytelling and strategy for our diverse portfolio of clients, which includes renowned brands such as Gap, Dyson, New Look, and L’Oreal.


What We Need You To Do


  • Understand and deliver trends and social media updates, internally and externally, through a cultural lens.
  • Apply your creativity in content creation briefs and help identify areas of growth for the company on socials with trends/reporting.
  • Support new social strategy thinking and creativity for working with creators, helping build plans and briefs with key insights and dynamic thinking.
  • Support Senior Creative Content Strategists in deputizing data/culture storytelling work across key clients.
  • Work closely with the Buttermilk family to contribute to a fast and creative work environment.
  • Provide social intelligence and content inspiration on campaigns to spark new ideas and concepts.
  • Support marketing initiatives across all social media platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snap, and more.
  • Develop and present concepts & ideas in response to briefs using trends knowledge.
  • Monitor social trends and trending audio on TikTok/Reels, incorporating these into social plans and sharing them with the team.
  • Work with the senior team to put together strategic proposals and recommendations for clients.
  • Create best-in-class slides and presentations that get clients excited.
  • Work both individually and as part of a close-knit team to ensure cohesive and collaborative execution of a client’s requirements.


What We’d Like From You


  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Creative Content/Social Media Strategist.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude to seeking out opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with Google suite of products (Google Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.).
  • A willingness to learn.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work fast and smart under pressure, delivering against set outcomes within tight timeframes.
  • Understanding of influencers and tastemakers.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Full of ideas, highly attuned to trends and culture, with a strong interest in entertainment and digital content.
