We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Coordinator to Coordinate for DP World UK IT projects, primarily managing administrative aspects of IT Infrastructure, Network, Application, and Automation projects. You will be responsible for supporting project delivery from initiation through to completion and post-implementation support.


This role is based in DP World Southampton, with travel and presence required at London Gateway, Essex once per month.


Location: Southampton

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Closing Date: 10 December 2024



About the Role


  • Assist in the coordination and management of various projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including IT project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Support project manager in tracking project progress and identifying potential risks.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on project objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making processes.
  • Help maintain project management tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas and follow-up action items.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project management team as needed.




What you will bring


Qualifications

Certificate or equivalent for Project Management discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.

Diploma or degree in a business or technology discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.


Experience

Previous experience in a project coordination or administrative role.

Experience in business analysis is preferred.

Familiarity with the ports industry is advantageous.

Experience with IT systems/projects will be highly regarded.


Skills

Strong project support skills, with knowledge of project management methodologies.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Wrike, or similar).

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Good customer and stakeholder relationship skills.
