What the Job Involves

As a Social Care Worker, your job involves delivering safe, tailored support to adults at risk by ensuring their basic needs are met through individualized care plans. You will aid with personal care tasks, monitor progress, and manage challenging behaviors, ensuring compliance with CQC standards. Your duties include planning and participating in daily activities, administering medication, maintaining accurate records, and using equipment for individuals with mobility issues. You'll also manage small financial transactions for service users and ensure safe transport arrangements. The role demands strict adherence to health and safety protocols, data protection policies, and exhibiting professionalism in all communications with stakeholders involved in care delivery. Flexibility is key, as the position requires working evenings and weekends based on rota patterns, attending office days, and maintaining a hybrid working schedule.
