Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met during the new product introduction phase.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes for new products.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide quality input to ensure manufacturability and reliability of new products.


Relevant Experience :

  • Must have 5+ years experience as an SQA Engineer - NPI, preferably within the automotive sector, though other industries will be considered.
  • Proficiency in APQP/PPAP processes.
  • Experience with various manufacturing processes and components (e.g., casting, machining, molding, assembly, fabrications) and measurement techniques.
  • Understanding of geometric design and tolerancing.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, quality tools, and techniques.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with intercultural and interpersonal proficiency.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to support regular domestic and international travel to suppliers/customers (including EU and USA) and holder of a valid driving license.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent engineering education qualifications or experience.


Preferred:

  • Knowledge of automotive technology and product development.
  • Auditor training to ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
  • Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
