Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes for new products
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements
- Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans
- Participate in design reviews and provide quality input to ensure manufacturability and reliability of new products
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an SQA Engineer - NPI, preferably within the automotive sector
- Engineering degree or equivalent engineering education qualifications or experience
- Auditor training to ISO 9001
- Knowledge of automotive technology and product development
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with quality systems, quality tools, and techniques
