Our client, a national charity is seeking a payroll officer to join their large finance team.


Main duties and responsibilities include


  • Process monthly payroll including the calculation of statutory deductions. Preparation of submissions to the HMRC including NI and income tax
  • Prepare a post payroll reports to the nominal ledgers and reconcile control and loan accounts
  • Produce monthly debit statements, deal with queries from staff and provide payroll information to HR and HMRC


About you –


  • You will have experience working within a payroll team
  • You will understand how HMRC legislation
  • You will have exposure working on a complex payroll system
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills
