We are looking for a Project Development Manager to join our growing team in London (hybrid).


Responsibilities:


  • Project origination in collaboration with the other members of the team.
  • Dealing and negotiating with landowners with regards to LOA, HOTs, Options to Lease, easement and wayleaves, purchase agreements, and other agreements.
  • Managing relationships with land agents and solicitors during the land acquisition process and project acquisition due diligence.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building with landowners, local authorities, grid network operators and external consultants or advisors.
  • Opportunities for professional development to broaden the role into the project management of development and permitting through grid connection requirements and planning consent; as well as sales and investment processes through project level transactions.



Ideally, you have:


  • Experience in identification of land or business development opportunities; demonstrated success in prospecting, identifying, and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial skills and awareness as well as good knowledge and understanding of legal and contractual frameworks.
  • Strategic relationship builder with both internal/external project stakeholders demonstrating personal integrity, negotiation capabilities and a win/win mindset.
  • Good understanding of the UK TCPA regulatory framework.
  • Proficiency in the use of GIS to assess and record development opportunities in management of the development pipeline.
  • A team player, who enjoys working within a dynamic team and environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • An ideal candidate will demonstrate capability through origination and possess a keen interest in developing the full suite of technical skills and knowledge to add value across the project lifecycle.
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS or FAAV are a plus.
