About the role

Overbury and Morgan Lovell are looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Manger to join their in-house Environmental Team. The Environmental team are a resource for all eight Overbury & Morgan Lovell divisions. The Environmental and Sustainability Manager will be a key member of delivery teams, assisting with the winning, development and delivery of fit out projects throughout the UK.


The role will focus upon providing both pre-construction and on site environmental support to business units. The role will also include developing and driving focussed sustainability initiatives and improve environmental decision-making of our delivery teams and supply-chain partners.


The role reports to the Head of Environmental and Sustainability. The role will be based at our West End offices on Newman Street and there will be a need to travel within the UK.

What is the focus of this role?

  • Environmental Management - Maintaining the brands’ ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, attending BSI audits and ensuring continual compliance.
  • Site Audits – Checking sites are upholding our environmental standards, helping to spread good practice and providing onsite training to Site and Project Managers.
  • PQQ and Tender Support – Specific PQQ/tender support and attendance at tender interviews where required.
  • Support for Environmental Assessments – Pre-construction and on-site support for sustainability certifications including BREEAM, SKA, LEED and WELL. Helping deliver training to our internal teams and subcontractors. Helping to embed robust procedures to support the delivery teams.
  • Carbon – Providing support and management of our carbon targets and initiatives, including reporting and reducing our Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions; achieving our Net Zero and Science Based Targets and monitoring and reporting the embodied carbon of our projects.
  • Environmental communication – Providing training to our staff and project teams around a range of sustainability topics; presenting to our clients on environmental topics and being involved in different industry initiatives and programmes
