They are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Lawyer to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases and contribute to the firm’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters, including compliance with UK and EU regulations.
- Represent clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
- Draft and review regulatory documentation, including policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Conduct thorough research on regulatory developments and advise clients on the implications.
- Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory environments, ensuring they remain compliant with all relevant laws.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.
- Deliver training and updates to clients and internal teams on regulatory issues and changes in the law.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive legal support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a strong academic background.
- Minimum of 3 years PQE in regulatory law, preferably within a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
- Extensive knowledge of UK and EU regulatory frameworks, including financial services, healthcare, environmental, or data protection regulations.
- Proven track record of handling complex regulatory matters and providing strategic legal advice.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
