Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters, including compliance with UK and EU regulations.
  • Represent clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
  • Draft and review regulatory documentation, including policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
  • Conduct thorough research on regulatory developments and advise clients on the implications.
  • Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory environments, ensuring they remain compliant with all relevant laws.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.
  • Deliver training and updates to clients and internal teams on regulatory issues and changes in the law.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive legal support.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a strong academic background.
  • Minimum of 3 years PQE in regulatory law, preferably within a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and EU regulatory frameworks, including financial services, healthcare, environmental, or data protection regulations.
  • Proven track record of handling complex regulatory matters and providing strategic legal advice.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
