This role requires someone to work between the Delivery and Consulting Resources team to facilitate the assignment of the right resources to the right customer projects at the right time.


The person in this role will be asked to:


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to determine staffing requirements and identify the best resources to meet those needs.
  • Foster relationships with business leaders and delivery managers to gain a clear understanding of project demands.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with consulting staff to comprehend their skill sets and career goals.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned resource portfolio, focusing on skills and work methods to ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Influence staffing decisions effectively, even without direct authority.
  • Provide analytical insights and maintain business metrics such as availability, utilization, and identify trends and issues.
  • Coordinate with Consulting Resources and Delivery teams to manage project schedules, availability, and other resource-related details.
  • Implement processes to ensure that the skills of the resource portfolio are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with leaders to adjust resource allocations in response to timeline changes or additional skill requirements.
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to address capacity challenges.
  • Highlight consultant skills to ensure Delivery teams are aware of the talent assigned to their projects.
  • Work with delivery and consulting leadership to define project-specific skill requirements.
  • Develop and manage capacity and demand reports for the resource portfolio.
  • Meet regularly with leadership to proactively identify staffing needs, utilization potential, and address shortages and surpluses across portfolios.


And should have:

  • Experience in personnel demand planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Preferably, two or more years of experience in resource management, process management, or operations management.
  • Background in the consulting services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of staffing processes within consulting services.
  • Proficiency in personnel demand planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to establish rapport and earn trust across all personnel levels.
  • Strong skills in using Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
