Job Title: Theatre Nurse – General Surgery
Tripod Partners is currently seeking Theatre Nurses with experience in perioperative care to join a busy and dynamic team at a healthcare facility in Ipswich. This is a great opportunity for Band 5 Nurses looking to contribute to safe and effective surgical care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, individualised perioperative patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Safely scrub for general surgery procedures, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with professional standards.
- Comply with infection control procedures and adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and legal standards.
- Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to a positive learning environment.
Position Details
- Location: Ipswich
- Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:30
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Pay Rates:
- Weekdays: £21.00 per hour
Requirements
- NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) with relevant theatre/scrub experience.
- Experience in perioperative nursing, specifically in general surgery.
- Strong understanding of infection control, Health & Safety regulations, and risk management.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Motivated, flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure.
