About the role:
Clarke Energy is seeking a skilled Product Support Engineer (MWM Focused) to join our Service Department. This is a dynamic role where you will provide vital technical expertise, support field operations, and help drive excellence in our product performance.
As a Product Support Engineer at Clarke Energy, you will provide technical expertise and support to our Service Department. You will be responsible for attending customer sites, diagnosing product issues, conducting root cause analysis, and delivering clear, detailed engineering reports.

Role & Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
- Technical Expertise: Diagnose, analyse, and resolve product issues across customer sites, with a focus on the developing MWM portfolio.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth investigations, gathering data and performing root cause analysis to ensure robust solutions.
- Proactive Maintenance: Recommend and implement best practices for maintaining peak product performance.
- Reporting: Deliver clear and concise technical reports, documenting findings and offering actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Service Department, using knowledge and skills for best practice on a developing department.
- Global Reach: Travel to sites across the UK and occasionally overseas, providing on-the-ground support when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Engineering qualification/Apprenticeship.
- 5+ years of field service or commissioning experience with MWM products.
- Strong technical analysis and root cause analysis expertise.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Clean UK driving license (category B).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable:
- BEng (Hons) degree or equivalent.
- Experience in technical support roles, report writing, and problem-solving.
- Customer relationship management experience.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong relationship-building skills with a solution-focused mindset
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Willingness to travel on short notice
