Due to a recent surge in growth, we’ve been making changes to our long-term strategy to drive efficient expansion of our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Project Manager will be at the forefront, managing and successfully delivering a variety of projects ranging from new product introductions and some strategic business projects to time, cost, and quality. You will need to be highly organised and adept in project initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring. Furthermore, you will have to successfully engage with stakeholders to get the best out of them. This role will require charismatic leadership to accomplish our project goals.


We are looking for a commercially driven, strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering results in a multi-disciplinary team environment. The right person for the role will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running and push themselves outside of their comfort zone. Alongside this, you will be required to live and breathe our core values.


Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities:


● Deliver assigned new product introductions and strategic business projects to time, cost and quality compliant with the Simple company’s processes

● Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation

● Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget

● Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

● Manage the relationship with all stakeholders; Perform risk management to minimise project risks; Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors as appropriate; Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

● Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met using proportional governance structures

● Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels regularly and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

● Maintain and promote high personal standards, team performance, in Environment, Health, Safety and Quality and be a great team player

● Assist the Operations Director and the Managing Director with ad hoc tasks

Experience & skills:


● Proven working experience as a project co-ordinator/ project manager in a manufacturing sector (preferably in a Start-up/ SME sized organisation)

● Experienced in leading, managing and developing multi-disciplined teams.

● Be able to manage a high-pressure environment and understand priorities.

● Be able to lead and inspire people.

● Able to drive performance and understand performance metrics

● Excellent communication (internal/ external) skills; Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Solid organisational skills including attention-to-detail and multi-tasking skills

● Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

● Ability to interpret charts, spreadsheets, and schedules as appropriate

● Have a professional project management qualification is an advantage
