UK Sales Manager

  • Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 Hours
  • Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum DOE
  • Location: Field Based – Midlands
  • Days of Work: Monday to Friday

- Includes company car.

- Must have a full, clean driving license.

- Must be willing to undergo DBS checks.

Job Description


The UK Sales Manager is responsible for developing the sales team, coordinating sales operations and implementing sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets. They are responsible for developing key growth strategies, tactics and action plans across Evac + Chair UK product portfolio.


Key responsibilities will include;


· Produce a comprehensive UK sales strategy document and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base

· Present sales performance, analyses, trends and opportunities on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

· Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

· Consistently monitor the marketplace and identify opportunities for growth to compete with competitors

· Work with Marketing to manage advertising campaigns in line with client needs

· Network and attend webinars and events when necessary to drive brand awareness

· Providing reports of field sales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) internally

· CRM (Prospect) training and monitoring to aid with performing research and identifying new potential customers and new market opportunities.

· Review monthly reports and collate to produce overall report to the Sales Director.

· Create financial and statistical tools and reports using spreadsheets.

Leadership

  • Analyse and report the sales team performance against budget and personal targets.
  • Manage and motivate the Sales Team to a high standard, managing performance.
  • Conduct quarterly Employee check ins and annual Personal Development Plans (PDP).
  • Deliver Continuous professional development of the field sales team.
  • Install appropriate team headcount and structure to achieve success.
  • Install written process, ownership, accountability, teamwork, and capability building.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance & constructive management of conflicts.
  • Succession planning.


About You;

·

· Proven experience of full P&L accountability within a B2B sales role (5 years+) is essential

· Demonstrated success in leading business development or sales activities ideally within the fire safety industry.

· Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office, with excellent analytical and reporting skills.

· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills is essential.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.

· Self-motivated with a track record of achieving sales targets in a dynamic, fast-paced market environment.


Leadership:

· Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role is essential, preferably within the fire safety, health & Safety or medical equipment industries.

· Previous experience of working within a similar industry is desirable
