We are working with a specialist manufacturing company in the Southeast London/ Kent area which is looking for an Integration Project Manager to lead a post-merger harmonisation project on a 1-year contract; the project covers departments across the organisation. The acquired company is based in the US and the focus will be on ensuring the smooth integration and technical transfer of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an integration project plan in coordination with senior stakeholders and workstream leaders.
  • Oversee project and resource planning, managing interdependencies of multiple workstreams, task management, prioritization, and escalations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective multi-site collaboration, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with workstream leads and internal teams to identify and resolve integration issues across all functions.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders and risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and project team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including the acquired subsidiary leadership team, vendors, and partners, to ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Provide project management support to other assigned projects as needed, based on availability.
  • Ensure comprehensive project communication and governance.
  • Monitor and maintain assigned budgets.
  • Maintain the project dashboard and provide weekly update reports.


Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a project management role within M&A/integration.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and coordinating global teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, preferably Jira, MS Project, or similar.
  • Driving Licence
  • to travel up to 25%.
