We are now looking for a Product Designer to join our team. As a Designer / UX Specialist at Twenty7Tec, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience and visual appeal of our software products. You will work collaboratively with our product development team to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our clients and partners


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user requirements and translate them into design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions with both real users and internal stakeholders
  • Deeply understand the customers you’re designing for. Whether it’s joining or conducting user research sessions, using analytics and insights, reading data reports, or conducting your own research/analysis.
  • You will always strive to understand the what, why and how of the problems you are trying to solve.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent design system and UI guidelines for our products to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing user experience.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure that our software products are accessible and functional across various devices and platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our products.
  • You will help to raise the bar for design at Twenty7Tec.

About you:

You will have:


  • Proven experience in UX design, interaction design, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment across at least two industry verticals (e.g. financial services, gaming, retail.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and analyse user feedback.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Acute focus on production value and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate this via a portfolio.


Although not essential any of the below would be advantageous:


  • Experience working in the FinTech industry, financial services, or CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
  • Passion for staying updated with the latest design trends and emerging technologies.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to a short telephone screening call with a member of our HR team. This is an informal conversation to find out a little more about you and your expectations ahead of potentially moving on to a formal interview.


If you are invited to an interview, this may be carried out at our Bournemouth office, or online via a video call depending on your location. Interviews are conducted with the line manager for this role. A second interview may be required depending on the specific job role and may be attended by a member of senior management where required. Don’t worry though, we’re all very friendly
